I am Kitemike,
a name given to me by people at 'The Beach' as a way
to identify me from all the other Mike's out there. I've been flying stunt kites given to me
by my brother, Will, for several
years now. The name has a ring and has stuck. My kiting
has evolved from the safe and pretty to the more dramatic; traction kites and kite buggies.
There is no other thrill that compares to flying across the salt
flat at 30 mph with your ass 2 inches off the ground.
Everyone that has tried it has loved it, but getting people to try it
is tough. If any of you wanna learn, lessons are free, just ask.
